Turf
sample analysis for disease identification
Service
includes:
- discussion with the Turf
Manager/Agronomist to identify the circumstances leading up to the disease
development [1][1]
- microscopic examination of the
turf sample to identify pathogen presence
- identification of other
possible causes for the apparent deterioration of the turf (if not caused
by a pathogen)
- a written result of the
analysis [1][2]
- transfer of the sample to a soils
lab if chemical/physical analysis is necessary
For each individual sample [1][3], the total cost of analysis will be GB£85 within the EC, (GB£125 non-EC countries)
[1][1] without the necessary background information, analysis results may not be complete. If the sample is being sent by special delivery/carrier, it is important that The Turf Disease Centre is made aware of the expected delivery date so that someone is available to sign for it
[1][2] preferably, the result would be sent to the Agronomist/Turf Manager via email and a hard copy of the result sent along with the payment receipt or an invoice for the work
