Fungal disease analysis GBP 98 GBP 104 GBP 104 GBP 108 GBP 114 GBP 114
Foliar, stem, crown & root fungal disease will be assessed using high powered microscopy and if necessary, incubation of the turf to encourage fungal mycelial growth / spore development. Results are generally provided in 1 to 2 days but when analysis takes longer, a preliminary result will be provided.

Assessment of turf parasitic nematodes GBP 98 GBP 104 GBP 104 GBP 108 GBP 114 GBP 114
Extraction of the turfgrass rootzone to allow identification and population assessment of turf parasitic nematodes. Results are generally provided in 2 to 3 days but when analysis takes longer, a preliminary result will be provided.

General analysis GBP 140 GBP 148 GBP 148 GBP 154 GBP 162 GBP 162
Assessment of the received sample for evidence of any fungal disease, parasitic nematode, invertebrate pest or rootzone problem (e.g. water repellence, anaerobic condition) that may be contributing to a decline in turf quality. Results will be provided on all tests that can be completed on the sample and information will be offered if other assessments are considered necessary to determine the cause of the problem. If appropriate, details of other laboratories will be offered for specific testing of rootzone or turf material. Samples can often be forwarded to other laboratories for further testing if agreed. Results are generally provided in 3 to 4 days but when analysis takes longer, a preliminary result will be provided.

It is possible to obtain a more details analysis of parasitic nematode populations (PPNs) that are present in intact rootzone profiles. Assessment of nematode types & populations at different depth intervals can identify more clearly a recurring problems and help to target management options.
